Pasture rotated: Quail are regularly rotated on pasture, giving them constant access to fresh grass, seeds, and insects; mimicking their natural environment.

Non-GMO diet: Birds are fed non-GMO feed to ensure clean, consistent nutrition without genetic modification.  We exercise "free access" feeding, meaning there's always food for the birds instead of a set amount or time of day.

Chemical free: We use no pesticides, protecting both the birds and the surrounding ecosystem.

No antibiotics or hormones: Our quail are raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, supporting their natural development and your health.

Scenic & natural location: Nestled in the scenic hills of Greene County, Virginia, our farm offers a peaceful environment for the birds.

Small, family run operation: We are a small family farm, allowing for close care, personal oversight, and intentional animal husbandry.

Ethical animal welfare: Our birds are raised ethically, with a focus on wellbeing, space, and dignity.  Most quail available in stores are raised in cages.  We provide space for the birds to roam inside a "chicken tractor" that keeps them safe from predators.  We strive to maintain a balanced covey (a 5-to-1 hen-to-rooster ratio).  This helps promote healthy social dynamics, reduce stress, and support sustainable breeding within each covey.

Humane harvesting: We harvest humanely, using calm, respectful methods that minimize stress and ensure a dignified end.
