Christine De Carvalho is an illustrator based in Los Angeles.

Much of her work is inspired by her love of folk art, fairytales, and vintage children's books. Animals and nature are some of her favorite subjects to illustrate.

Her first book, "Mermaid Life" is a celebration of all things mythical and magical. Her book can be found wherever books are sold.

Her product line celebrates folklore, botanicals, and creatures with a dash of the macabre.
