They love that they get to design their own range of Australian souvenirs and ‘therapy pets’ for the elderly and people suffering from PTSD, anxiety, autism, Asperger’s, depression, Dementia and other mental health issues. Their koala toys serve as substitute mothers for orphaned baby koalas, the black dogs raise funds and create awareness around suicide and their pets bring comfort to hundreds of anxious, lonely and sad senior citizens - particularly those suffering from Dementia. New FurTastic Friends are made starting with a photo/drawing and can take up to 2 years to create, using up to 50 different pieces of fabric to perfect the design. The fabrics are specifically made up and each animal is filled with 100% recycled stuffing. These unique, realistic, quality collectibles are ethically made to be durable, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, machine-washable and don’t “malt”. Each animal is lovingly groomed in the warehouse in Australia before being sent to their new homes.
