History of the Indestructibone

We have been raising and rescuing dogs for over 17 years. Most of the dogs we owned were power chewers and one of the biggest challenges we faced was finding a durable and safe chew toy. We tried so many. Our dogs were shredding their chew toys faster than we could replace them.  Either they were torn into chunks in a day or less, developed sharp edges or indentations and caused our dog’s gums to bleed or just plain fell apart.

This lead us on a quest to make a chew toy that was safe and could stand up to even the heaviest of chewers. We wanted a chew toy that you could give your dog without worrying about what would happen if you left them alone with it.

We spent years researching and developing a chew toy that we are very proud of…. The Indestructibone! Our Indestructibones are proudly made in the USA. Each one is made by hand, not mass produced or injection molded.

We tested our Indestructibone chew toys with many different types of chewers – small and large. We tested them with Pit bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bully Breeds, Bull Dogs, Great Danes, Queensland Heelers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Jack Russel Terriers, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois and so much more.

Today, each sale enables us to donate chew toys and pet food to rescues and dog related charities.

Indestructibone Mini is made for dogs up to 15 lbs. Approximate measurements: 6” X 1.25” X .875". Weight of Indestructibone: 5 oz.

Original - for dogs 16-29 lbs. (Approximate Measurements 6” X 1.25” X 1.25" and weighs 8 oz)

XL - for dogs 30-50 lbs  (Approximate Measurements 6” X 1.25” X 1.625" and weighs 10 oz)

Smooshy Face - for dogs 40-80lbs (Approximate Measurements 8" X 1.25" X 1.25" (made especially for Smooshy Face dogs, but all dogs in this weight range may use it.

XL Plus - for dogs 51-100 lbs. (Approximate Measurements 8” X 1.25” X 1.625" and weighs 13 oz)

Mega Max - for dogs 51-100 lbs. (Approximate Measurements 12” X 1.25” X 1.25" and weighs 1 lb.)
